    CD burning software is vital for any work or play computer.  While much of the highest quality cd burning software are paid downloads, there are a couple of basic free cd burning downloads out there.

Burn At Once

     Burn At Once is a no frills no extras CD burning program.  It takes just a little getting used to but I ran it forever with no issues.  Nothing fancy but a worthwhile download all the same.

CD Burner XP Pro

     I didn't run this software as long, but it still seemed to be pretty solid.  More features than Burn At Once, but no "disc copy" feature.

DVD Decrypter

     DVD Decrypter is a great program for ripping DVD's into your computer for backup.  Because there are 4.7 gigs of info on a DVD, it  takes a looooong time to rip a DVD into your machine.  Make sure you won't be needing your computer for a while!
