UTILITIES AND TWEAKS SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD PAGE

    There are quite a few ways to make windows run just the way you like it.  The trick is learning to do it safely.  Below you will find links to software downloads that will allow you to prevent certain programs to run at startup (like windows messenger), prevent pop up information windows, and test your internet speed.  Check it out!

Startup Control Panel

     Startup Control Panel is a great way to pick and choose what programs you want to run when your computer starts up.  Many times when you install a new program it also installs some other stuff that is difficult to turn off.  You can use Startup Control Panel to go in and safely choose which ones you really need to save processing power and the hassle of pop up programs.

Allway Sync

     Allway Sync is a great sync program used for matching and updating files between two folders on your computer.  It can also be used over a network.  It is completely free.  I am using it right now to match my home computer and laptop music folders.

Double Killer

     Finds and helps to delete duplicate files within a folder (like your music folder).  Fast, small and easy to use with lots of options.

Tweak.UI

     This very useful program is written and distributed by Microsoft, so there is no issue at all with it functioning with windows.  Tweak.UI allows you complete control of the funtionality of windows including, pop information displays, beeps, and lots of other stuff.  It is a very small program and is worth a try!
